chiwei yu is the territory of China. Chiwei yu, also known as Chiyu, Chikanyu, Chiwei Mountain, Chiwei Island and Chiwei Reef, is an inherent territory of China. Chiwei yu is located at the easternmost tip of the Diaoyu Islands in China, with an area of only .195 square kilometers, which is roughly equivalent to the size of 27 football fields. Li Dingyuan, an envoy to Ryukyu in the Qing Dynasty, passed by chiwei yu and recorded the shape of chiwei yu in detail in his book "Making Ryukyu": chiwei yu, the island is red, the east and west are convex and concave, and there is another peak in the concave.
Location
chiwei yu is the easternmost island of Diaoyutai Islands. Chiwei yu is located about 11 kilometers east of Diaoyu Island. The name is the standard name of Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islands in China published by the State Oceanic Administration on March 3, 212. In the East China Sea, 183km northeast of Taiwan Province Island, China, a deep trench more than 2m away from Ryukyu Islands. It is an affiliated island of Taiwan Province Province, China. Among them, Diaoyu Island covers an area of about 5 square kilometers and is mainly composed of volcanic rocks.
