Brief introduction of Fuyang Han bamboo slips

Bamboo slips unearthed from the tomb of Ruyin Hou in China in the early Western Han Dynasty. In 1977, Anhui Provincial Cultural Relics Team and other units excavated the No.1 Tomb of Shuanggudui in Fuyang, Anhui Province. National Cultural Heritage Administration Ancient Literature Research Office and Fuyang Regional Museum cooperated to sort it out. According to the analysis of the tomb shape and funerary objects, the owner of the tomb may be the second generation Ruyin Hou Xiahou Zao, who died in the fifteenth year of Emperor Wendi (165 BC). Bamboo slips were originally in the lacquer bin on the east side of the coffin room. Because of the early theft of the tomb, the slabs collapsed and the bamboo slips were squeezed into blocks, which were seriously damaged. The simple pieces have been carefully peeled and separated, but they have all been broken. There are no obvious characteristics in the shape and combination of bamboo slips.
