Zhong is a professor at Nanjing Normal University.

Engaged in higher education since 1982. Twenty Chinese and foreign doctoral students and visiting scholars have been trained, and more than 654.38+million words have been written. He has won the first prize of National Excellent Book "Golden Key", the first prize of outstanding achievements in humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province, and the second prize of outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu Province. He has organized and participated in many international academic conferences, and served as the Secretary-General of the Second China International Symposium on Tang and Song Poetry, and the Vice-Chairman of the International Symposium on Ancient Astronomy and China Traditional Culture. He is currently the vice president of the Chinese Poetry Society. He has been invited to give lectures at Yale University, University of California, Long Beach, Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Macau and other universities at home and abroad. He is good at creating poems, couplets and classical Chinese. He is the author of Rebuilding the Confucius Temple in Nanjing, The Alarm Preface of Jinghai Temple and several couplets. He has carved stones, cast bells and published wood, which has been hung in various places of interest and widely read. Because of his outstanding achievements in higher education, academic research and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, he was awarded the honorary title of Jiangsu Model Worker and Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert, enjoyed special government allowance, and obtained the honorary certificate issued by the State Council.

20 12 was elected as the consultant of China Poetics Research Society in Jiangsu Province in May. He has been the editor-in-chief of the Dictionary of Appreciation of Tang and Song Ci, which is published by Shanghai Dictionary and Jiangsu Ancient Books, and other key manuscripts with about 6 million words. He has won many awards in various book awards in China, Shanghai and Jiangsu. He is good at writing old-style poems and couplets. The temple is engraved with the article "Rebuilding Nanjing Confucius Temple". The co-authored "Ming of the Warning World" has been cast on the clock and hung in Nanjing Jinghai Temple. He has attended many international academic conferences, and served as Secretary-General of the Second China International Symposium on Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasties, and Vice-Chairman of the International Symposium on Ancient Astronomy and China Traditional Culture. He has been invited to give lectures at Yale University, University of California, Long Beach and many universities in China. Young and middle-aged experts who have been rated as model workers and made outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province are entitled to special government allowances and honorary certificates issued by the State Council for their achievements in higher education, academic research and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
