Brief introduction of rural museum

Located in Hellerstroeu Park in Bucharest, Romania, the Rural Museum is an open-air museum that introduces Romanian rural architectural art, folk art and farmers' living customs. Established in 1936. At that time, a group of experts and scholars put forward the idea of establishing a folk museum after in-depth field investigation and a lot of sociological and historical research in rural Romania, aiming at reflecting Romania's traditional culture from one side by displaying rural architectural art, decorative art, farmers' lifestyle and customs for more than three centuries. This village museum was built on a small scale. There are colorful sculptures, embroidery and painted pottery in the rural museum, which show people the artistic achievements of Romanian traditional culture in different periods. There are many different styles of farmhouses in the museum, which are very harmonious and beautiful under the shade of trees. They are called "villages in the city". It is not only a famous scenic spot for tourists to visit and learn about Romanian customs, but also a paradise for students to live happily during their holidays.
