Wu's Wu Pai Piano Style

The most important feature of Wu Pai Qin is the literati Qin, which is different from the Yuefu Qin popular in the early court and the performance Qin popular in restaurants and teahouses in the later period. As the schools of thought in the Eight Laws of Drum and Qin in Chuncaotang Qinpu said, the literati Qin has a unique flavor of Confucianism and school. As summarized by Zhao, Wu Pai's piano style is characterized by elegance, peace and extraordinary bearing. It is comparable to the wide flow of the Yangtze River, different from the rapids in the upper reaches of the plateau canyon, and it is a national style in the middle and lower reaches of the plain. After thousands of years of history, Wu Pai's piano style, as always, is still as few as Zhao's words, and there is no increase or decrease.

Yushan School revived the piano, but it didn't make any changes to the five schools' piano style, but it was more specific and highlighted the core of the piano style. In the words of Xue Xu in Songxian Pavilion, "it is a spectrum, a peaceful and mysterious solution, in which there is an outside without an inside, and it is clear from God, and only one person is in it." Then I learned that the car (author's note: Yan Tianchi's word car) drinks people peacefully, and when people meet it, they don't feel calm, extravagant and forget it. After reading a passage quoted by Feng from Song Xian Ge Pu, it is clarified that the purpose of Yan Zhenxing's Qindao is to "restore harmony and be indifferent, just like the ancients' self-cultivation and reason, but against their innocence and people. "As can be seen from the preface and quotation, the core of the piano style of Yushan School is a word" harmony ". It is the characteristic of Wu Pai Qin that later generations evaluate Yushan School as "upright and peaceful, clear and profound". The Book of Castle Peak (later published as the Book of Rhubarb Pavilion) put forward 24 situations and made important achievements in guqin aesthetics. But all changes are inseparable from ancestors, and they are not separated from the roots of Wu Pai and Yushan School. Why do you see it? Let's take a look at the first condition of Xishan Qin, which is "harmony", that is to say, peace and generosity are always the foundation and the core. The first eight conditions of "harmony", "quietness", "purity", "remoteness", "antiquity", "lightness" and "escape" are exactly the same as those of "the gentle voice of Wu, the style of a national scholar" and "integrity and peace, implicative and distant". However, 24 situations are supplemented and elaborated in some aspects. Therefore, there are eight conditions: beauty, brightness, talent, macro, smoothness, fitness, weight and speed, which is to advocate the diversification of practice and performance. In order to avoid the loss of movement and the deviation of fingers, it presents eight situations: elegance, cleanliness, embellishment, garden, firmness, exquisiteness, lightness and slowness, and compares, adjusts and balances them. As for the position and connection between Yan and Xu in Qin studies, there seems to be no difference. The author thinks that it is better to make the style of Yushan School more comprehensive, complete and systematic than to make it more diverse. The ancients said that "Tianchi is in front and Qingshan is behind" is very pertinent. After all, Yan and Xu have a pulse, and * * * advocates the piano, so there is no need to carve it in detail. A gentleman is harmonious but different. A piano school, its style is not static, and it is normal that some changes will take place between representative musicians in different periods. Invariance and change are relative, and the genre and pianist's personality are unified in the general direction.
