The full name of the State Council is the General Office of the State Council, People's Republic of China. Its duty is to play the role of staff assistant and operation hub, guide and supervise the national government information disclosure work, and preside over and be responsible for the daily work of the State Council.
The main functions of the General Office of the Central Committee are: to be responsible for the secretary and meeting work of the Central Committee, to supervise and inspect the deployment and implementation of important central work, and to convey and supervise the implementation of the instructions of the Central Committee and leading comrades of the Central Committee.
The main responsibilities of the State Information Office are:
