Why did Guo Ruoyu name his vegetarian name "Golden Plum Room"? This should start with his teacher Ruan Xingshan. Ruan Xingshan (189 1 ~ 1974) was an early member of Xiling printing society, and was as famous as Ding Fuzhi, Wu Changshuo and Wang Fuan. He likes to use ink painting, especially ink and plums. He is thin and vivid, and has won praises from Huang, Pan Tianshou and others.

Guo Ruoyu has a middle school classmate who is Mr. Ruan's nephew. Through this relationship, he was able to learn from Ruan Xingshan and fell in love with Mo Mei and Mo Lanzhu. Besides painting, he also visited ancient and modern monuments. In the 1950s, Guo Ruoyu came across the Mumeitu of Jin, a famous Kiichigo painter in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, in the Shanghai Wumalu (now Guangdong Road) antique market, and liked it very much, so he hung it on the wall and wanted to find out one day. The name "Plum Blossom Room" comes from this.

At that time, there were many friends in Jinmei Room, among which Bai Jiao and Gaoluoyuan were worth mentioning.

Bai Jiao (1907 ~ 1969) is a master of poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing, and he is also called "three outstanding calligraphers at sea" with Shen. In the 1920s, he also advocated new literature and published Bai Jiao, a collection of vernacular poems, which had a great influence among young artists.

Although Bai Jiao is nine years younger than Mr. Deng Sanmu, he is like-minded, and often holds calligraphy and painting exhibitions together. Both of them are addicted to alcohol. It was in Mr. Deng Sanmu's residence that he forged a profound friendship with Guo Ruoyu. From then on, he often went to the Plum Blossom Room to watch Guo Ruoyu's collection of calligraphy and paintings, seals, coins and various old rubbings, and wrote inscriptions and painted there many times. "Plum Blossom Room" was inscribed by Bai Jiao.

Gaoluoyuan, a famous stone master, was named Luoyuan, a famous seal engraver and collector of seal engraving appreciation. 1939 Ding Chou robbed me and printed me, and collected more than 900 representative works of 273 Indians since the Ming Dynasty. It is regarded as a brief history of seal cutting in Ming and Qing dynasties in the form of works, which has great influence. 1944 was compiled into "Music Room Prints" and published. Guo Ruoyu is also a seal collector. Seeing this beautiful light spectrum, he regarded it as a treasure. 1960, teacher Ruan Xingshan introduced them to meet and talk about literature and art, and they hit it off very well, feeling reunited after a long separation. Mr. Gao once painted "Collection Seal of Wisdom Shrine" for him, and carved a stone seal for him at 1965, including a white "Golden Plum Room". At this time, Mr. Luoyuan is 8 1 year old, which shows that his printing management skills are immortal.
