How many rivers are there in China? How many scenic spots and ancient books!
I. Overview of water resources of major rivers in China There are many rivers in China, with a total length of 420,000 km, more than 50,000 rivers with a drainage area of 1000 km2, and about 1500 rivers with a drainage area of1000 km2. The total runoff of the river is 2.7115×1012m3, which is equivalent to the runoff depth of 284mm and distributed in ten major river basins. However, due to the influence of topography and climate, the distribution of rivers in this area is very uneven. Most rivers are distributed in the humid and rainy monsoon region in the east, and the dry and rainy climate in the northwest, with few rivers. The runoff in the Yangtze River basin is 9.513×101m3, ranking first in China. The runoff of the Pearl River Basin is 4.685×101m3, ranking second in China. Yarlung Zangbo River runoff1.654×1kloc-0/1m3, ranking third in China. According to historical records, many rivers with a long history in China provided irrigation and shipping for the Chinese nation two thousand years ago. Among thousands of rivers, 27 rivers with annual runoff greater than 7 billion m3 can be selected, as shown in Table 1.6. Table 1.6 lists not only the total annual runoff and depth of major rivers, but also the basin area, length and annual average flow. Among the major rivers, the annual runoff of the Yangtze River, Pearl River, Heilongjiang River and Yarlung Zangbo River exceeds 654.38 billion cubic meters. The annual runoff of Lancang River, Nujiang River, Minjiang River, Yellow River, Qiantang River, Huaihe River and Yalu River is 30-75 billion m3. In table 1.6, there are 10 rivers with the length exceeding 1000km, which are the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Heilongjiang, Pearl River, Yarlung Zangbo River, Lancang River, Nujiang River, Liaohe River, Huaihe River and Haihe River in turn. If sorted by basin size, it is the Yangtze River, Heilongjiang, Yellow River, Songhua River, Pearl River, Huaihe River, Haihe River, Yarlung Zangbo River and Liaohe River. The Pacific flow area mainly includes the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Heilongjiang, Pearl River, Liaohe River, Haihe River, Huaihe River, Qiantang River and Lancang River. There are Nujiang River and Yarlung Zangbo River in Indian Ocean. There is only the Irtysh River in the Arctic Ocean, and the basin area is the smallest. The inland river basin area accounts for 34.7%. The whole country is divided into ten regions (first-class regions) according to the river basin system, that is, the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, the Pearl River, the Huaihe River, the Haihe River, the Liaohe River and the Heilongjiang River are the main bodies, and they are included in their adjacent independent inflow seas and outflow rivers, and the rivers in Zhejiang, Fujian and Taiwan, the rivers in the southwest region and the rivers in the inner flow area are also connected together. The inland rivers in China can be roughly divided into seven regions: Inner Mongolia, Hexi, Junggar, Central Asia, Tarim, Qinghai and Qiangtang. 43 338 61519410615 Yuanjiang Beibu Gulf I.
