Ling Tong's memory of later generations.

There is a "Linggongtang" in the southeast of Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, a Linggongtang village near it (1982 demolition), and a "Bird Boat Village" near this village. The old man surnamed Ling said that they are descendants of Ling Tong, and one of them has Lingjiatang (Hall) in Xiushui (New Town). Lingjiatang had two painters, Ling Zhe, in the Qing Dynasty, who wrote Records of the Loss of Friends in Yilin (now in Beijing National Library) and Records of Pu Chuan's Hearing (now in Jiaxing Library).

After Ling Tong's death, Sun Quan ordered Lu Xun to station troops in Jiaxing. Later generations called this Tanghe, which was excavated by soldiers and civilians under Ling's command, Linggongtang. Linggongtang has obvious traces of manual excavation. The ancient pottery jar unearthed in Majiabang, south of Linggongtang, contains carbonized rice, which has a history of 2000 years.
