The word "nasty and impatient" first appeared in synopsis of the golden chamber: "women are nasty and impatient, like gods, and their numbers are insufficient, mainly sweet wheat and jujube soup." A woman who is depressed, fidgeting, crying for no reason, in distress situation, in uncertain mood, yawning frequently and unable to control herself is called dirty and impetuous. If it happens during pregnancy, it is called "pregnancy worry"; When it happens after delivery, it is called "postpartum mania".
Zangfu refers to internal organs. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that mental activity is closely related to the five internal organs of heart, liver, lung, spleen and kidney. Mania means anxiety. Tibetan mania is caused by abnormal mental activity of zang-fu organs.
