Cultural Landscape

The main cultural landscapes include Chengxu Gate, Kuixing Tower, Guanyin Temple, Shuangcastle Railway Station, Chengxu Park, Hope Square, and Folk Culture Pedestrian Street. During the War of Liberation, the frontline headquarters of the Fourth Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was located in Shuangcheng. The generals of the "Four Fields" commanded the famous Xinkailing, Sanxia Jiangnan and Sibao Linjiang battles here. The large-scale historical blockbuster "The Great Battle" and the TV series "Marshal Luo Ronghuan" were filmed here.

Customs and customs

There are 15 ethnic minorities in Shuangcheng, including Manchu, Korean, Hui, Mongolian, Daur and Xibo, among which Manchu has the largest population. Since the two cities were reclaimed, outstanding people have emerged in large numbers. Generals Tuo Yunbu and Fengshen were the main generals of the Qing Dynasty. During the imperial examination period, there were 29 Jinshi, Jinshi, and 191 scholars. During the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, the martyr Wen Zizhen led the people of Shuangcastle to launch a great patriotic movement, burning down the Catholic Church on West Street and blocking a Tsarist Russian troop train at the train station. In modern times, there have been famous figures such as Mo Dehui, Cai Yunsheng, Zhai Wenxuan, and Yu Chenzheng. During the War of Liberation, the "Four Fields" frontline headquarters was located here, and generals such as Lin Biao, Luo Ronghuan, Liu Yalou, and Cheng Zihua commanded the Liaoshen and Pingjin campaigns here.

Since the founding of New China, the Twin Cities have produced numerous talents, such as the famous composer Fu Gengchen, writer Liu Zicheng, etc.
