Why didn't the historical records record the story of Fuxi and Nu Wa?

Mainly because the history recorded in historical records is true, while Fuxi and Nu Wa are people's beautiful imagination, and the authenticity cannot be verified. First, the historical records are true.

Historical Records is one of the twenty-four ancient histories, and it is a biographical history book written by Sima Qian, a historian of the Western Han Dynasty. This book includes twelve biographies, thirty families, seventy biographies, ten tables and eight books. These contents are either biographies, major events, or various institutional etiquette, all of which are real things in history.

Second, historical records have been recorded since the Yellow Emperor.

Historical Records began with the legendary Yellow Emperor and lasted until the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It always tells the history of China for nearly 3000 years. At this time, human beings appeared. So Fuxi and Nuwa were before this era. In this respect, this is one of the reasons why the story of Fuxi Nuwa is not recorded in the history books.

Third, Fuxi and Nuwa may be just people's imagination.

People fantasize that Fuxi and Nuwa appeared in the chaos of heaven and earth. They gave birth to the first human beings in the world and taught them to use tools to survive in the world. Only in this way can people thrive. But in fact, we all know that human beings evolved from apes, so its authenticity is very doubtful.
