The origin of the name of Yangzhou Shuangbo Pavilion

Yangzhou Shuangbo Museum consists of Yangzhou China Woodblock Printing Museum and New Yangzhou Museum.

The predecessor of Shuangbo Museum is Yangzhou Museum. Yangzhou Museum has the longest history.

It can be traced back to Yangzhou Cultural Relics Museum established by 195 1 and Subei Museum established in the same year. After more than 60 years of development, Yangzhou Museum has become an influential comprehensive museum with rich collections, complete functions and distinctive local characteristics at home and abroad. In August, 2003, with the approval of the State Council, Yangzhou China Woodblock Printing Museum was established, and 300,000 ancient books collected by Yangzhou Guangling Bookstore were merged into Yangzhou Museum, establishing Yangzhou Double Museum. Yangzhou Shuangboge Project officially started on June 8, 2003, and the main project was capped on April 5, 2004. On April 8, 2005, the civil engineering was completed. In the same year1October 9th, 10, Shuangbo Chen Zhan Project was completed and opened to the public free of charge.
