The Romance of the Gods, commonly known as the List of Gods, is also known as The Complete Biography of Shang and Zhou States, The History of King Wu Attacking Zhou, and The Biography of Gods. It is a ghost story novel in ancient China.
The Romance of the Gods is a supernatural novel written by Xu (said to be Lu Xixing) in Ming Dynasty. Based on the history of Jiang Ziya and Zhou Shi (Zhou Wenwang, Zhou Wuwang) in their crusade against Shang and Zhou Dynasties, this paper narrates the story of Yuxu Palace, represented by Yuanshi Tianzun, and the story of intercepting immortals and breaking the array to seal the gods, represented by Tian Tong, the leader of Biyou Palace.
The Romance of the Gods was originally a civilian entertainment literature of China, written in Qin Long.
