4. Please take good care of documents and all public property. Please do not annotate, alter, fold, deface, cut or tear pages on documents. Do not take documents out of the reading room. Violators will be dealt with according to relevant regulations of Shanghai Library. If readers need to copy materials, please make copies at the copy point on this floor. If you have special needs and need to scan or photograph books and periodicals by yourself, please go to the reference desk to fill out the "Intellectual Property Protection Agreement".

5. Please use the power supply in the designated area. Do not connect to an external power supply or charge without authorization. Pay attention to the safety of electricity.

6. Please store books and periodicals (including self-brought books and periodicals), bags (larger than 14*20 cm), food and other items that are not in the reading area in the baggage deposit area.

7. Please abide by the "seven no's", abide by the library's borrowing rules, and be a civilized reader.
