Gao Chuan Yanzi (1865 ~ 1946) is a Japanese sinologist.

In the early years of Meiji, he learned Chinese from Yusen Kyung-weng and Naomura Poerxiang.

1882, he dropped out of middle school in the third grade, went to Tokyo to attend a private school in Hongcun, Teru Shimada, and later joined the Classical Lecture Department affiliated to the University of Tokyo. 1887 graduated, along with Shi Cun Shuntaro, Tian Yingsong, Teru Shimada Junyi, Lin Taifu, Yamada Zhun and others. Because I didn't graduate from Tokyo University, I couldn't find a permanent job for ten years because I didn't study abroad. His student Shui Ze Lizhong said: "When the times changed dramatically, (Gao Chuan Yanzi) still lived in full accordance with the lifestyle of the previous era."

In 1888, he co-wrote six volumes of "The History of Knowing That" with Ichimura Zantaro, which was completed in 1892. 1September, 897 to work in Sendai No.2 Middle School.

1932 ~ 34, Textual Research on Notes of Historical Records Association was published by Tokyo Institute of Oriental Culture Institute of Japan (reprinted in 1955 ~ 57), which was highly praised by sinologists all over the world.
