Shatian straw is another raw material for making rice paper. Rice straw was not mixed into the raw materials used in the early stage of rice paper. Two experts, Liu Renqing and Qu, used extra clean sheets, four-foot clean sheets and four-foot cotton sheets produced by Jingxian Xuan Paper Factory in 1983 and 1985 respectively, and in the fourth quarter of 1982, 50 grams of copper per square meter produced by Tianjin No.7 Paper Factory, Beijing No.1 Paper Factory and Jilin Paper Factory were used.
