What are the records of UFOs in China's ancient paintings?

UFO is recorded not only in a large number of ancient books, but also in paintings. One of them is the picture "Red Flames Flying" made by famous painters in the late Qing Dynasty.

There are dozens of people standing at the head of the lost Cuiqiao Bridge in Nanjing. Those people in robes, jackets and long pigtails are helping the old and the young. They are talking one after another, looking up at the oval "red flame" above the roof. On this picture, there is an inscription by the author Wu Youru, which describes the characteristics of this "red flame" in a very specific and detailed way. The original inscription is as follows:

"At 8 o'clock on the evening of September 28th, in the south corner of Jinling, I suddenly saw a fire blanket, which was like a giant egg from west to east, red and dull, floating in the air, and its line was very slow. It is dark when dark clouds cover the sky, so it is clear when you look up. There are hundreds of people standing on Zhu Cuiqiao.

A promise about cooking faded away. If you are far away from yourself, it is diarrhea, but it is not known by the stars. It is said that the night wind blows north, the ball turns east, it is not a sky lantern, and people are divided into poverty and speculation. There is a cloud: when things start, they are faintly audible, but they don't listen. It's strange that people come from outside the south gate. "

From the content analysis of the above inscription, we can clearly see that the fire blanket (ball) in the picture is a UFO, and this fireball is "shaped like a huge egg", "at first, it is dull and silent", then "clouds cover the air, the sky is dark" and the fireball is "red and dull", but the viewer is "red and dull" from the speed and flight speed of the fireball.

It should also be pointed out that the author's analysis of the "red flame" is as follows: first, the characteristics of the "red flame" flight are compared with meteors, and the possibility that it is a meteor is ruled out; Secondly, according to the contradiction between the flight direction and the wind direction, the speculation that this object is a sky lantern put by a child is denied, thus affirming that it is a UFO, which shows that the author's observation and analysis of natural things are very in-depth and to the point.

The characters in this painting are also quite vivid. Nearly 50 people are depicted on the screen. Some people are dumbfounded, some are excited, some are watching, some are talking, some are paying attention to other people's introductions, and their expressions are different and vivid. The sensational scene when people found strange UFOs jumped to the page.

Some people think that "red flames flying" is the earliest UFO picture, but it is not. Let's just say that the earlier one has not been discovered or can't be confirmed. For example, cultural relics and archaeologists in Inner Mongolia found a large number of rock paintings in Langshanwu, central Inner Mongolia. There is a rock painting depicting two peach-shaped heads with two round eyes on their faces. There is also a peach-shaped outline around the eyes, just like the Monkey King's face in the play, but there is no nose and mouth. Around the head, a large number of spheres are depicted. Do these spheres represent the aircraft that aliens ride? Or do these gods come from cosmic objects? Some researchers think that "this is an icon of the gods imagined by ancestors", so this kind of picture is called "the picture of the gods".

However, there is also a strange head at the mouth of the east side of Hanula Peak. One of them has two different eyes on his head, a square mouth on his face and countless sticks on his head. Like the previous rock paintings, a large number of spheres were carved around the head.

Is this also the "icon of the gods" imagined by our ancestors? Why do you want to draw a sphere with such a strange figure? Interestingly, the word "Datang" is also engraved in this picture. If the picture and the inscription were made by the same person at the same time, we can't help asking: China's culture was quite developed in the Tang Dynasty, and Buddhism and Taoism were very popular in China. Judging from the font of the inscription, the author has certain knowledge and cultural level. Then, since the author wants to portray the icon of the gods, why not carve the image of Buddha or Taoism, but portray this incomprehensible and completely fictional character?
