1, bronze statue of tiger head

The bronze statue of Tiger Head was made in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty (1736- 1795). It originally belonged to one of the bronze statues of the twelve heads of Dashuifa in front of Haiyan Hall in the Western Building of Yuanmingyuan, Beijing.

The bronze statue of the zodiac is a stone carving, dressed in robes, with a realistic head and fine casting. The wrinkles and fluff on the animal's head are clear and realistic. The wrinkles and fluff on the animal's head are clear and lifelike.

The material for casting the animal head was refined copper from the Qing court at that time. Dark appearance, clean connotation, a hundred years of rust, a must.

According to textual research, the bronze statues of the 12 zodiac animals were arranged on both sides of a pool in front of Haiyan Hall in Yuanmingyuan, and were called "hydraulic clocks" by people at that time.

Every day, the bronze statue of 12 will be sprayed with water in turn, representing different periods of the day. At noon, the bronze statue of 12 will be photographed at the same time. These bronze statues were designed by westerners and made in China, which blended eastern and western cultures.

2. Five-color parrot

The picture depicts two apricot flowers with broken branches and a parrot with five colors on a branch. The pen is meticulous and colorful, similar to the picture of wintersweet and birds. It is an exquisite and elegant style.

Because of Evonne's handwriting, it has always been under the name of Hui Zong, but contemporary scholars generally believe that it was written by a professional painter in the hospital at that time, reflecting the level of flower-and-bird painting in Hui Zong Institute.

On the right side of the picture frame, there is the preface and couplet poem of Evonne's Shu Jin Shu, which is similar to Xiang Long Shi Tu. Some scholars further speculate that this work should be one of Xuanhe Ruilan Shu.

1860 Yuanmingyuan was looted and lost overseas, and now it is collected in Boston Art Museum.
