Humidity and temperature do great harm to bamboo. The hoarse voice is mostly due to the humidity in Xiao Tong. Take good care of it and use a sealed box or thick brocade cloth to prevent moisture. Put it on the mildew spot line, dip a small piece of cotton in strong alkali water (washing powder, bleach, baking soda), lengthen bamboo sticks or chopsticks to wipe off the mildew spot (don't pour liquid), and put it in a warm and dry place to dry slowly (don't expose it to the sun or it will crack).
