Who is the Eight Immortals crossing the sea?

The story of the Eight Immortals crossing the sea: The earliest Eight Immortals appeared in the Han Dynasty. They are eight writers called "Eight Immortals in Huainan" and were called "Eight Immortals" at that time. "Pearl of Primary School" records: "Eight Duke of Huainan: Zuo Wu, Li Shang, Su Fei, Tian You, Mao Pi, Baylor, Jinchang and Wu Bei."

It can be seen that the Eight Immortals are only eight literati in Huainan, not immortals. But later, because of the legend that the king of Huainan became an immortal, the Eight Immortals attached to his door became immortals, called "Eight Immortals".

Ji Shu, written by Shu Xiu in Jin Dynasty, contains "Eight Immortals of Shu", and later said: "First, I was a public official, then I was hidden in Honghong \ \, now Qingcheng Mountain; Li Er, born in Shu; Three Dong Zhongshu is also a hermit of Qingcheng Mountain; Four Zhang Daoling, now Hemingguan; Wuzhuang, Chengdu Booth; Six miles and eight hundred, Longmen Cave in Chengdu; Seven Fan Changsheng, in Qingcheng Mountain; Mr. Bajeju, in Yazhou. " The above-mentioned "Eight Immortals" have nothing to do with the Eight Immortals circulating now.

The deeds of the Eight Immortals are mostly found in books of the Tang and Song Dynasties, but there is no such group as the Eight Immortals. Eight people are really called "Eight Immortals", which is in Yuan Zaju. These plays are all called Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, but their names are different, and each family is different.

Ma Zhiyuan's zaju "Lv Dongbin Sanzui Yueyang Tower" and "Narcissus" introduce the Eight Immortals in turn with Lv Dongbin's heart kiss at the end of the fourth fold: "The first one is Li Hanzhong, who is now in charge of immortals; This is Tie Guai Li, whose hair is in a mess; This is the blue color river, and the board was demolished by Yunyang wood; This one is Zhang, riding a donkey; This one is Xu Shenweng, carrying a gourd; This one is Han Yu's nephew Han Xiangzi; This one is Cao Guojiu, a family in the Song Dynasty; Then I am Lu Chunyang, who likes to play simple drums. " All the Eight Immortals mentioned above are He Xiangu, but there is a Xu Shenweng.

The Journey to the West, a novel by Wu Yuantai in the Ming Dynasty, was selected. Wu Yuantai arranged the Eight Immortals in the following order: 1. Tie Guai Li; 2.han Zhongli; 3. Cai Jian He; 4. Zhang; 5. He Xiangu; 6. Lv Dongbin; 7. Han Xiangzi; 8. Cao Guojiu. The composition and ranking order are completely consistent with those circulating now, indicating that most people have accepted Wu's statement.
