To get started, you might as well look at various versions of General Archaeology and Introduction, such as Zhang Zhiheng's General Archaeology of China, or the latest systematic review: Liu Qingzhu's archaeological discovery and research in China (1949-2009).
If you want to have some theoretical depth, you can look at Chen Chun's Introduction to Archaeological Research.
If you are not afraid of trouble, you can also read two translated classics: Archaeology: Theory, Method and Practice by Colin Renfrew and Archaeology: Discovering Our Past by Sharon.
In terms of basic concepts and terminology, the Encyclopedia of Archaeology in China is recommended. Although a little old, the explanation of basic concepts is out of date, and it has always been the basic reference material for college entrance examination.
