When traveling to Shijiazhuang, you will only go to one place. There is no doubt that it is Hebei Museum.
If you look at all the provincial museums in China, Hebei Museum is among them. Its special exhibition is very exciting. Say it one by one.
I Quyang Stone Carving Exhibition
This exhibition hall must rank first. Those who like ancient sculptures will never get out again once they go in. Quyang is a famous hometown of stone carving art in China, especially white stone carving. The local white stone used in stone carving is white, shiny, delicate and hard, and is called white marble in the world. From the stone figurines unearthed from the Han tombs in Mancheng, to the main building materials of palaces in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and then to the contemporary architecture represented by the Monument to the People's Heroes, Quyang stone carvings are everywhere and have lasted for more than 2,000 years with their unique charm and vitality.
Masterpiece: the image of Sakyamuni in the Northern Qi Dynasty
Second, the Han Tomb in Mancheng
One of the most famous mausoleums in China, the mausoleum of the first king of Zhongshan State in the Western Han Dynasty and his wife Dou Wan. Exhibit cultural relics 1605 pieces (sets), occupying two exhibition halls. Visiting them once will be a bit dazzling.
Focus: China's earliest and most complete golden jade clothes.
Third, the ancient Zhongshan State.
A "mysterious kingdom" that completely relies on archaeological excavations to reproduce the world, one of the five "countries with thousands of riders" in the Warring States period, is a vassal state second only to the Seven Chivalrous Men in the Warring States period. Since 1970s, archaeologists have explored Lingshou Ancient City, the ancient capital of Sun Yat-sen, near Shan Zhi Village, Pingshan County, Hebei Province, and excavated five royal tombs of Sun Yat-sen and more than 0/00 civilian tombs. More than 20,000 pieces of cultural relics have been unearthed, many of which are exquisite in workmanship and gorgeous in shape, and they are treasures in the works of art during the Warring States period.
National treasure cultural relic: bronze lamp with silver head
Fourth, the murals of the Northern Dynasties.
In fact, many heavyweight murals have been unearthed in Hebei, such as the tombs of the Eastern Wei Princess, Yuan Hu, Levin in the Northern Qi Dynasty, Gao Run and Gao. However, due to the particularity of murals, only six original murals were exhibited, and the rest were murals replicas drawn according to the original paintings. The most spectacular part of the whole exhibition hall is the grass mural on the tomb of Levin in Wen Xuandi, Northern Qi Dynasty, which is 37 meters long and the highest point is 8.2 meters. It shows the travel scene of 53 guards of honor escorting and guiding the tomb owner to become immortal.
Other exhibition halls, such as stories, have few heavyweight cultural relics, and mainly rely on some paintings and multimedia to tell the rich cultural heritage of Yan and Zhao. In the exhibition "Famous Kilns and Famous Porcelains", Hebei is the location of famous kilns such as Xing Kiln, Ding Kiln and Cizhou Kiln, so there are also many treasures.
