Jiao's source exploration

Jiao's family originated from the descendants of Shennong in ancient times, came from Jiang's family, and took the country as his surname.

According to Tongzhi Genealogy, Guang Yun and Historical Records, after the founding of the People's Republic of China in the early Western Zhou Dynasty, the descendants of Shennong took Jiaoguo as their surname and established Jiaoguo (Jiaocheng, a hundred paces northeast of Shaanxi Province in later generations), which was destroyed by the State of Jin in the Spring and Autumn Period. Their descendants took the country as their surname, so they thought it was their surname.
