Kunming City Museum
Kunming Museum is an iconic comprehensive museum. There are basic exhibitions in the museum, such as fine bronze culture exhibition in Dianchi Lake area, classic architecture and dinosaur fossils exhibition in Dizang King Temple, memorial hall of Kunming Flying Tigers, fine fan exhibition, fine porcelain exhibition and old photos exhibition in Kunming. There are also three mobile exhibition halls that hold various temporary exhibitions from time to time.
Opening hours: 9: 30-17: 00 every day (16: 30 closes the entrance). The museum will be open all year round until further notice.

Yunnan Railway Museum
Yunnan Railway Museum is located in Beijing Road, which is the central axis of Kunming's north-south main road. It is the same building as Kunming North Station. It is located at the starting point of Kunming-Hekou Railway (known as Yunnan section of Yunnan-Vietnam Railway in history), east of the dispatching building of North Station, west of Beijing North Station under the tunnel, south of the interchange station of North Station of Huancheng North Road Metro Line 2, and north of Yuan Jun Community of Lianhe Road.

Kunming Animal Museum
The museum covers an area of 1885 square meters. 1959 was established in early 2006 and officially opened to the outside world. This is an animal museum. The storage area of the museum includes animal library, bird library, amphibian and reptile library, fish library and insect library. Herbarium is rich in animal specimens, such as golden monkey, giant panda, black-necked crane, tortoise and other rare species. Kunming Zoo is a modern museum integrating exhibition, research and education, and also an important base for the popularization of local natural science.
Opening hours: it will be closed from 9:00- 17:00 on Monday, normally open on legal holidays, and closed for maintenance on the second day of holidays.

Yunnan Nationalities Museum
Yunnan National Museum is adjacent to Yunnan National Village near Dianchi Lake, about 9 kilometers away from Kunming. This is the most concentrated collection of Yunnan minority history and culture, and it is also the largest national museum in Southeast Asia.
