Guo Jinliang's Calligraphy
Guo Jinliang, whose pen name is Yoshiko, is a famous contemporary writer, poet, calligrapher and painter in China. Member of China Art Critics Association, Deputy Director of Painting and Calligraphy Professional Committee of National Corporate Culture and Art Working Committee, Vice President of Tanzhe Temple Art Institute, Academician of China Celebrity Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Member of Inner Mongolia Calligraphers Association, and Member of China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association. Born in Wuchang, Heilongjiang, 1962, I like poetry and calligraphy since childhood. He studied under Zhang Si Xiang, a famous calligrapher in Qiantang, and Zhou Mingzhi, a contemporary artist. His works have participated in national competitions for many times and won the first prize in the national competition to commemorate Mao Zedong's birthday120th anniversary. His works in 20 13 won the second prize in the National Painting and Calligraphy Grand Prix to commemorate the anniversary of the Revolution of 1911 100. In 20 14, his works were issued as stamps in China by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the National Philatelic Corporation, and his works were included and reported by People magazine and Collection of 100 Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists in China.
