Examination purpose

Grade requirements for applying for foreign language examination for professional titles

1, apply for advanced professional and technical qualifications in higher education, scientific research, health and engineering, apply for senior international business engineer, apply for full advanced professional and technical qualifications in other series, and take the A-level exam.

2. Apply for intermediate professional and technical qualifications of higher education, scientific research, health and engineering series, apply for senior professional and technical qualifications of health series for personnel working in units below the county level, and apply for deputy senior professional and technical qualifications of other series (regardless of deputy senior) and take the B-level exam.

3. Personnel working in units below the county level shall apply for intermediate professional and technical qualifications of health series, and other series shall apply for intermediate professional and technical qualifications and take the C-level examination.

Exempt from examination

1. Returned students who have obtained a master's degree or above recognized by the national education administrative department;

6. Young and middle-aged experts who are selected as national candidates for the "Hundred Million Talents Project" and enjoy special allowances from the State Council or the provincial government and have made outstanding contributions to the country or province;

7. He has won more than the third prize of science and technology award, teaching achievement award and social science achievement award at or above the provincial level since he took up his present job, and has at least one main finisher, or an independent finisher or the first finisher who has obtained more than two national patents (including at least one invention patent);

Scope of application and object

Examination language

The national foreign language proficiency test for professional titles is divided into six languages: English, Japanese, Russian, German, French and Spanish. Introduction to foreign language test questions

A, B and C exams are composed of six parts, each of which has the same type of questions and the same number of questions, but the total reading volume and difficulty of different levels of exams are different. This test mainly examines the examinee's ability to understand written English.

Part 1

Ask candidates to choose 1 word or phrase with the closest meaning to the underlined part from the four options given at the end of each sentence.

Candidates are required to choose four correct options from the six options provided to complete each sentence.

Reading comprehension (one out of four, question 3 1-45, 3 points for each question, ***45 points) tests the examinee's ability to understand the main idea and details of the article. This part is divided into three articles, each with 300-450 words and each with five questions. Candidates are required to choose 1 best answer from the four options given in each question according to the content of the article.

The fifth part

Complete the essay (questions 46-50 out of six, 2 points for each question, *** 10) to examine the examinee's ability to grasp the structure of the article and the author's thoughts. This part is divided into 1 essay of 300-450 words. There are five spaces in the article, and there are six groups of words behind the article, five of which are taken from the article itself. Candidates are required to select five groups of words according to the content of the article and put them back in the corresponding positions to restore the original appearance of the article.

Part VI

Cloze test (choose collocation, choose one from four, 5 1-65 questions, 1 each question, *** 15 each question) examines candidates' ability to correctly grasp the content of the article and use words accurately in a certain context. This part is divided into 1 essay of 300-450 words. There are 15 spaces in the article, and each space gives four options. Ask candidates to choose 1 best answer from four options according to the content of the passage.

Qualified scores in English test for professional titles

The foreign language qualification line for professional titles published by the Ministry of Personnel is generally 60 points, and the results are long-term effective.

The provincial capitals of the national professional title foreign language examination set the provincial qualified scores of that year according to the examination situation of that year. If the score is relatively lower than 60, it will probably be 40-55. The scores corresponding to different places may be different (for example, the score of Jilin Province is 50 points), but the validity period of the score is relatively short, which is generally valid in the current year.

Validity and eligibility criteria of foreign language test scores for professional titles

1. Professional and technical personnel who have obtained the qualification certificate (report form) of foreign language test for professional titles are not limited by the validity period of the certificate when applying for professional and technical qualifications at the corresponding level or below. A class A certificate can be applied for professional and technical qualifications at all levels, which is valid for a long time.

2. Those who meet the relaxation conditions for passing the foreign language examination for professional titles and have a score of 40 or above are not limited by the validity period of the certificate when applying for professional and technical qualifications at the corresponding level or below.
