A brief introduction to the seven baskets of clouds.

This book was originally written in 12 volumes according to Zhang Junfang's self-sequence. Zhongxing Bibliography (cited by Yuhai), Qu Ben's Reading Records of County Zhai, Yuan Ben's Reading Records of County Zhai, Song Shi Yi Wen Zhi and Literature General Examination are all recorded. There are no volumes in the Bibliography of Suichutang. "Zhi Zhai Shu Lu Solving Problems" is 124 volumes. The orthodox Taoist scriptures, sikuquanshu and the four-part series are all 12 volumes. The reissue of Collection of Taoist Scriptures is not divided into volumes, and there is no preface by Zhang Junfang, so there are many missing volumes. Then there are 12 volumes, 124 volumes, 122 volumes and so on. One hundred and twenty-two volumes are current editions. It contains the mysterious department of orthodox Taoist scriptures.

although Zhang junfang called this book "the English of seven parts", it only means that its content is the English of seven parts of the Heavenly Palace Treasure of the Great Song Dynasty, rather than the style of seven parts. In fact, it classifies the seven extracted contents according to their nature. For example, Volume I, the Moral Department, picks up the words in Lao Jun Zhi Gui, Han Feizi, Huainan Lie Hong, the preface to the sacred discipline of the mixed Yuan Dynasty, and the preface to the moral classics of Emperor Kaiyuan of Tang Dynasty, in order to summarize Lao Zi's moral concept, that is, the purpose of Taoism. Volume II, mixed with elements and mixed with caves, opens up the department of fortune-taking, quoting the words of "Tao Jun Yue", "Tai Shi Jing", "Tai Zhen Ke" and "Shangqing Santian Zhengfa Jing" to discuss the generation and change of the universe, and especially quoting "Tai Shang Lao Jun Kai Tian Jing" to detail the creation and decline of Lao Jun as the king's teacher; Volume IV, Taoist Classics Teaching Department, quotes Preface to Shangqingyuan Unified Classics, Preface to Lingbao Classics, Description of Shangqing Classics, san huang Classics, Yuntai Zhizhong Internal Record, etc. to discuss the teaching systems of Shangqing, Lingbao and san huang.

All other volumes are guided by the outline, and several books are cited under a general topic. Some topics are rich in content, such as miscellaneous repairs, precepts, various methods, elixir, inner elixir, fu tu, and fairy tales and biographies, etc., and each of them is listed in several volumes to extract a variety of Taoist books. It can be seen that although there are many Taoist books quoted in this book, the outline is quite clear. As for the specific figures of Taoist books cited, it is difficult to make accurate statistics, because some of the cited books are marked with their original names, some are just the titles of articles in a book, and some are even the names proposed by Zhang Junfang. However, "most of them are excerpted from the original text without comment", which basically retains the face of the original book. This is its most historical value.
