-Monday to Friday 9:00 ~ 2 1:00 Saturday and Sunday 9: 00 ~ 17: 00 North Zone
-9: 00 ~ 17: 00, Monday to Sunday, South District
Before entering the door
-Save the bag first. There are bag storage offices in the North and South Districts, and free self-service bag storage is available. If the schoolbag is not very bulging, it should be able to put it in and keep the password field.
-You can't bring water (but you can bring empty bottles with drinking places), food, small bags or transparent plastic bags (I have seen others bring them), notebooks, pens and laptops (with power supply). If you bring a laptop, you can't bring your own laptop bag. You should change a computer bag with a national unified map at the bag storage office.
Card issuing service
-Both North and South can operate. At least 16 years old, with ID card. The north area is in the northeast of the second floor, and the south area is in the southeast of the second floor. Fill in the registration form first, then get the number (the same as in the bank). When you arrive, give him both the form and the ID card, set a six-digit password (remember it), and then take photos (the photos will not be displayed on your library card).
-If you only apply for a library card, you don't have to pay; To apply for a China library card, a deposit of 100 yuan is required; A deposit of 1000 yuan is required to apply for a foreign library card. I will give you a receipt and keep it. If you cancel this business in the future, you can refund the deposit with the receipt. You don't need a card, but you can enter with a second-generation ID card. (Thanks to JohnDoe for supplement)
To swipe/punch a card
-The side with the magnetic stripe is facing itself, and the magnetic stripe is facing down. There are also examples there. All libraries swipe their cards at the gate, but don't swipe their cards when they go out. If you don't have a card, you can swipe your second-generation ID card. There is a special machine. Just put it on and feel it.
indoor temperature
-I think winter is more suitable, but it's really cold in summer ... People with cold bodies should pay more attention and bring a long-sleeved coat or a small shawl.
drink water
-There are many drinking places in both districts, both of which are water dispensers. You can use paper cups and bring your own empty bottles. There are hot water and normal temperature water now.
have a meal
-There is no dining area in Guo Tu. There are Yoshinoya, Jin Fengcheng Xiang and good neighbors opposite the North District. For more choices, please see Uncle Guo Tu's top post.
North District
-The North District is a new library, a simple reading area with only Chinese books, newspapers and periodicals. 1-3 floor is Chinese books, and the fourth floor is newspapers and periodicals. But as soon as you entered the building, you were already on the second floor. Watch your position. 1-3 floors can wander around without leaving the reading area, but if you want to go to the fourth floor, you can either take the glass stairs or take the elevator directly from the second floor to the fourth floor. Reading electronic newspapers is very interesting. There are four machines with the same content. Standing for a long time is a little tired. There are photocopying places on all floors in the North District, and all materials needed can be copied.
-The north area is naturally lit, and the shading plate on the ceiling will automatically open and close with the change of light. The building is also relatively modern, with a high ceiling, which is very enjoyable. There is not much density between people who sit down and read books. A big table can only seat four people, and a table on the 1 floor is slightly larger and can seat six people, and there are sofas for one or more people. There are three and two sockets on the desk, so it's no problem to use a laptop.
