The first pediatric book in rural China is

Cranial Meridian is the earliest extant pediatric monograph in China, which laid the foundation for the development of pediatrics in China. Cranial Meridian discusses pediatric pulse diagnosis, points out that pediatric pulse diagnosis is different from that of adults, and then discusses the etiology and treatment of diseases and syndromes, which is not complicated to say. Describe infantile malnutrition, dysentery, fire Dan and other syndromes, all happened in the past. This book has a great influence on later generations. Qian Yi, a famous doctor in Song Dynasty, won the title of the first generation of Youke, which originated from this book.

Book authors and collections

Textual research on the Summary of Sikuquanshu shows that there is no such title from historical records of past dynasties to artistic records of Tang Dynasty, but from artistic records of Song Dynasty, so it is suspected that it was written by people at the end of Tang Dynasty and the beginning of Song Dynasty. Song Zhi wrote it, and it was written by Wu Shi. When the magician was Zhou Muwang, he was suspected to be a pseudonym. China Ancient Literature Medical Canon Volume was written by Wei Xun in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Wei Xun, who studied medicine under Zhang Ji, is good at gynecology and pediatrics, and has written Four Contradictions, Three Menopause, Female Fetus and Tibetan Classics.

After the Ming Dynasty, the original book was lost, and Sikuquanshu was compiled according to Yongle Dadian in the Ming Dynasty. There is a medical series of Danggui Caotang, which was published in Guangxu four years of Qing Dynasty and photocopied by 1956 People's Health Publishing House.
