(1) tool statistical method:
Click the Tools menu in the Word menu bar, and then select Word Count.
(2) Document attribute method:
Click the "File" menu in the Word menu bar and select "Properties", which can be seen under the "Statistics" column.
For a higher version of Word, you can directly see the document properties in windows, so you can know the number of words by looking at the document properties without opening the document.
(3) Insert domain method:
Press the shortcut key Ctrl+F9, enter numwords in the gray block, and then press F9. The number that appears is the total number of words in this article. This number is changeable (press F9 after selecting full-text update), which is more useful for the application that takes the number of words in the article as a part of the article, so that the results can be dynamically updated without modifying the number of words every time.
