According to official website, the Cangshan District People's Government of Fuzhou, Shaoqi Village is located at the eastern end of Nantai Island and the west side of Kuipu Bridge. It is one of the four villages in Linpu, belonging to Chengmen Town, Cangshan District. It has a long history and cultural heritage, and will not be demolished.
Cangshan District is located in the south of Fuzhou, which governs the whole Nantai Island, surrounded by rivers, separated from Drum Tower, Taijiang, Jin 'an and Mawei by 7.6 1 nautical mile in the north, facing Mawei Port across the river in the east, and connected with Minhou and Changle in the south.
