Sadness comes from Xiao's voice, which reflects people's mood at that time (the second paragraph is mainly sad) to lead the guests to be sad about the past and lament about life.
Emotion: The author wrote the scenery after explaining the time, place, people and activities of the night tour. The poet is rowing on the river. It is early autumn, and the gentle autumn wind blows slowly, fiddling with the poet's skirt and hair, blowing away the annoying summer heat, and the river is quiet and calm. The poet writes a letter with a pen, and his mood is relaxed and natural. After the poet wrote a poem about drinking with the guests, he wrote about the river view of Chibi after sunrise: white fog floating on the wide river, under the bright autumn moon, the water and sky on the river are connected, crystal clear. The river scenery written by the poet under the autumn night and moonlit night reflects his clear inner world, which is free and easy, while the scenery of Chibi written in Red Cliff Fu is ethereal, bright and soft, which reflects the poet's carefree and free state of mind.
Creative background:
The Red Wall Fu was written during Su Shi's relegation to Huangzhou, which was one of the most difficult periods in his life. In the second year of Song Shenzong Yuanfeng (1079), he was falsely accused of writing a poem "Defaming the Imperial Court", impeached by the Imperial censor, and was arrested and imprisoned, which is known as Wutai Poetry Case. Su Shi was arrested and imprisoned for writing "Huzhou Xie Shangbiao" and was accused of slandering the imperial court. "After several reconstructions", he was tortured. After being rescued by many parties, he was released in1February of that year and was demoted to deputy ambassador of Huangzhou Youth League Training, but "no official contract, no unauthorized placement." This is undoubtedly a "semi-prisoner" controlled life. In the fifth year of Yuanfeng (1082), Su Shi visited Chibi twice on July 16 and 10/5, and wrote two poems in Chibi. Later generations called the first poem "Pre-Chibi Fu" and the second poem "Post-Chibi Fu".
