It is clearly stated in Buddha Sakyamuni that Sakyamuni Sakyamuni should be read when the baby is born and the old man dies. Excerpted from a passage as follows:
? Puguang again: if there are men and women in the afterlife, life and death will last a long time. It's still a nightmare, but with relatives, it's still a dangerous road, or a nightmare, * * * ghosts and gods. The sun and the moon are old, turning to sleep, complaining and unhappy. This is the theory of karma. Karma is uncertain, or it is a life that is difficult to give up, or it is incurable. The customs of men and women do not distinguish between things.
But read this sutra aloud in front of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Or take the patient's lovely things, or clothes, treasures, manor, houses, and sing loudly in front of the patient: I am a certain person, let the patient leave these things in front of the scriptures, or worship the scriptures, or build Buddha and Bodhisattva statues, or build pagodas, or burn lamps, or give alms for a long time. If it's a white patient, just give the order.
When knowledge is scattered, you will be exhausted, even from the first, second, third, fourth to seventh day. But read aloud, read aloud. That was after the end of life. As for the five innocent crimes, you will be free forever, and you will always know your destiny in the place where you were born.
