2. The Classic of Materia Medica: borax, white in color and light in weight, can relieve phlegm heat in the chest, diaphragm and lungs. Xin can disperse, bitter can drain, salty can soften, so it can resolve phlegm and relieve cough, and laryngitis breaks the crux. Soft nature, removing dirt and greasy, cutting it for use, dissipating it into energy, it is appropriate to attack more than enough, but it is difficult to apply less. This temporary medicine is not a long-term medicine.

3. "Materia Medica": borax, expectorant, sore throat, and eye-blocking drugs. This medicine is light and clear. If the cause is qi stagnation, respiratory distress and phlegm is caused by fire, it is used to clear the symptoms.
