What is gold?

Gold mercuric agent synthesized from gold and mercury.

Hot stamping does not refer to a certain material, but a traditional metal process, which needs to be made of gold. Gold plating is a gold mercury agent synthesized by gold and mercury. It is coated on the bronze surface, and then heated to evaporate mercury and make gold adhere to the bronze surface.

Gilding technology originated in the late Spring and Autumn Period and the early Warring States Period, and has been applied to the decoration of small utensils ever since. Common appliance types are hooks, copper rings and heads. The production process of gilding is divided into five steps: flattening the front end of the bronze, staining with mercury and drying. After that, the gold is dissolved into thick mud, also known as "golden mud". Then the dissolved gold is evenly smeared on the bronze ware, which is called "smearing gold". Put the red-hot smokeless charcoal into a deformed wire cage, pick it up with a copper object, bake it around the place where it is applied, so that gold adheres to the object, and rub it repeatedly with jade to flatten the object.
