Brief introduction of ternary theory

Chen studies historical exegetics, is good at poetry, and advocates the theory of "three yuan", that is, "Shang Yuan Kai Yuan, Zhong You". He believes that this is the three stages of the evolution of ancient modern poetry. The first peak was in the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, the second peak was in the Yuanhe period of Tang Xianzong, and the third peak was in the Yuan You period of Song Zhezong. Inheriting the "three elements" is the "same body" between Tongzhi and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, that is, the poetic style he advocated. He wrote his own poems, focusing on the twists and turns of Wang Anshi and Yang Wanli, and his style was quite different from that of Chen, Zheng, Shen and Chen. He preached the achievement of "sharing light" all his life, which had a wide influence on the old poetry circles in modern times.
