Why are there seven Buddha lanterns?

Offering seven lanterns has special significance and represents perfection.

Legend has it that when Sakyamuni Buddha was born, he walked on the ground and took seven steps. The first six steps represent our six ways, and the seventh step represents enlightenment. Therefore, using seven to express the method means transcending the six ways and achieving the liberation and perfection of enlightenment!

"7" or "108" in Buddhism means perfection. Using seven lamps means perfection. So many people offer seven lamps a day or 108 lamps in January, which means perfection!
