Synopsis: Liu Mengmei, a poor scholar, dreamed that there was a beautiful woman standing under a plum tree in a garden, and she often missed her from then on. She read The Book of Songs, Guan Ju, Mourning for the Past and Seeking Spring, and dreamed of a tryst with a scholar in the peony pavilion in the garden. After Li Niang woke up, she fell ill because of lovesickness. Before she died, she asked her mother to bury her under the plum tree in the garden, and asked Chunxiang, the maid, to hide her self-portrait under the Taihu stone. His father was promoted to the history of appeasement in Huaiyang, and entrusted Chen Liangliang to bury his daughter and build a "Meihua Temple". Three years later, Frida Meng went to Beijing for an exam. She spent the night in plum blossom viewing, and found a portrait of Du Liniang under the stone in Taihu Lake, and found that the person in the painting was the beauty in her dream.
