Note:

1. Headline of the school: Beijing Hu has the same name and is 450 meters long. It was named after the military exercises of the Ming Dynasty. . In the Ming Dynasty, it was called an alley in Jiangjunjiachang. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Jiangjun Xiaochang Toutiao, and in the late Qing Dynasty, it was called Xiaochang Toutiao, which is still in use today. It includes Sanyuan Guild Hall (No. 1 Courtyard), Yongzhou Guild Hall (No. 2 Courtyard), Yunnan Guild Hall (No. 7 Courtyard), Shanzuo Guild Hall (Shandong Guild Hall, No. 17 Courtyard), Xu Lingxiao’s Former Residence (No. 19 Courtyard) and Wu Xiaoling’s Former Residence (Yard No. 47).

2. Shuangluo Bookstore: the name of the study room of the famous classical writer and bibliophile Wu Xiaoling (1914-1995). Wu Xiaoling was the first scholar to spread the theory that the author of "Jin Ping Mei" was Li Kaixian (a writer and dramatist of the Ming Dynasty), and laid an important foundation for the study of this theory. Wu Xiaoling has the most complete set of versions of "Jin Ping Mei" from various periods; his collection of "Shu Yuanwei's Preface to a Dream of Red Mansions" manuscript from the 54th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty is the only copy of "A Dream of Red Mansions"; his collection of "The Legend of Killing Ghosts" "Very few copies have been handed down from generation to generation and are very precious. In Wu Xiaoling's former residence, there used to be two acacia trees (called Hexi trees in ancient times), which were quite popular with the owner, so they named the study "Shuangluo Bookstore". Originally, there was a couplet inscribed in bronze on the door leaf of the courtyard of the former residence: "Unparalleled in the world of Hongwen, great master and good teacher." This couplet was inscribed by Sun Zhuang, a famous calligrapher and Jinshi scholar in the former Qing Dynasty. Nowadays, the yard has been renovated, the acacia tree has disappeared, and the doors have been taken away by private individuals. The culture of old Beijing has been eroded bit by bit.

3. Lingxiaohan Pavilion: The name of the study room of Xu Lingxiao (1886-1961), a famous journalist, anecdote expert and drama research expert in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, takes the poetic meaning of "reminiscing about Lingxiaohan". From January 4, 1928 to December 31, 1930, "Ta Kung Pao Drama Weekly" edited by Xu Lingxiao published 152 issues, leaving valuable text and picture historical materials in the history of Chinese drama. From July 7, 1929 to August 9, 1937, Xu Lingxiao and his brother Xu Yishi jointly wrote anecdotes about the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, which were serialized in Tianjin's "Ta Kung Pao·Guo Wen Weekly" for 8 years, with a total of nearly 1.5 million words, and were compiled in a centralized manner. From Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the Republic of China, there are more than a hundred years of anecdotes between the government and the public. In September 1928, Xu Lingxiao completed my country's first Beijing-style documentary novel "Return to the Ancient City" in Lingxiao Han Pavilion. Now, Xu Lingxiao’s former residence has fallen into disrepair and has become an ordinary residence.
