Brief introduction of Guizhou provincial library
Guizhou Provincial Library was founded in 1937. The original site of Beijing Road was rebuilt and expanded from 1997, and it was put into operation from 12 to 18 in 2004. It is the largest cultural facilities project in Guizhou Province since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The new building has 1 floor underground and 17 floors above ground, including 5 floors of podium and 0/2 floors of tower, with a total construction area of 24,439.02 ㎡. The total investment is 80 million yuan. There are 19 reading room, 1 computer training room, 4 ancient books expert research rooms and conference rooms, academic lecture hall, exhibition hall, multi-function hall, English salon and other facilities. In addition, there are "green Internet cafes" for minors, which are open free of charge in different periods. At present, it has a collection of 6.5438+0.68 million books.
