First, Snake Mountain
Sheshan, where the famous Yellow Crane Tower is located, is located at the bridgehead of Wuchang Yangtze River Bridge. The origin of the name Snake Mountain is said to be because there were many snakes on the mountain in ancient times, although there are few traces of snakes today. The Yellow Crane Tower is the most famous scenic spot on Snake Mountain, and countless literati have written hymns in the past dynasties. In addition, the monuments of Snake Mountain include Longhua Temple, Li Biao Temple, Yuefei Pavilion, Baobing Hall, Sheng Xiang Pagoda, Chongyuetai, Chen Youliang Tomb, etc., as well as a large number of inscriptions and monuments.
Second, Kameyama
Guishan and Sheshan face each other across the river and are located at the bridgehead of the Yangtze River in Hanyang. The natural geography and landforms of Guishan and Sheshan, together with the Yangtze River Bridge, constitute a magnificent picture of "the tortoise and snake lock the river". If Snake Mountain belongs to literature, attracting countless literati to leave poems, then Guishan must belong to martial arts. Places of interest, such as Lu Su Tomb, Temple, Chaozong Pavilion, Yu Palace, Tomb of Liu Qi, etc. They all show the heroism of historical figures, and now there is a cultural park with the theme of the Three Kingdoms. What impressed Guishan most was a TV tower, which was 22 1.2 meters high. It was the first TV tower in China at that time and was once known as the "Asian mast".
Third, Longquan Mountain.
Most people's understanding of Longquan Mountain may be limited to the Lingquan Temple located in it. Longquan Mountain is surrounded by water on three sides, and the north and south mountains stretch for 9 kilometers from west to east, with the basin as the boundary in the middle, forming the trend of "double dragons playing with pearls". Longquan Mountain was named after Li Xi, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, who dug springs here, and Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, named it "Sleeping Mountain". Longquan Mountain is known as "Three Turtles, Nine Beds and Twelve Scenes". Three turtles refer to three carved stone seats under the tombstones of Chu Fan, Zhao, Zhuang and Xian of the three generations. Nine bedrooms refer to the bedrooms of princes and concubines in Zhao, Zhuang, Xian, Kang, Jing, Duan, Yi, Gong and He dynasties. These twelve scenic spots refer to Lingquan Temple, Liaodong Temple, Wangyuan Pavilion, Qingyujing, Baiyun Pavilion, Hanshanlou, Songting Pavilion, Wanjuan Bookstore, Luchun Pavilion, Qiu Feng Pavilion, Purple Calyx Garden and Pearl Tower. In addition, there are 48 tombs of ancient sages.
