Who can tell us something about our time in Yanzhou Zhangwu Army?
Xixia tuoba was established. Its important figure is Li Yichao (? -935), the leader of the Five Dynasties Tangut, the son of Li Renfu. After Li Renfu's death, the later Tang regime appointed Li Yichao as our army's successor, but it was very wary of the forces that had occupied the Tangut buffer region of Zhou Xia for a long time. So, taking advantage of Li Renfu's death and Li Yichao's innovation, Li Yichao was replaced as our army's ambassador to Zhangwu Army (now Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province) and Yanzhou City (now Yan 'an City), and was retained as our ambassador to Zhou Xia. Let lead 50 thousand troops to escort him to his post, forcibly expel Li Yichao from the country, and issue an order threatening: "If you obey orders, Qiu has not committed a crime, and if you don't obey orders, the whole family will be punished." Not to be outdone, Li Yichao objected on the grounds that "the three soldiers dispersed and failed to enter the city". The imperial army besieged Zhou Xia for several days, but it had to withdraw because of insufficient food supply. Li Yichao chased out of the city, and Tang Jun was defeated. Afterwards, Li Yichao voluntarily confessed to the post-Tang regime. Mingzong also had to take back his orders. In the second year of Qing Dynasty (935), Li Yichao died in office, and his brother Li Yiyin succeeded him as our ambassador. Li and Li Deming succeeded to the throne one after another, fighting against the Central Plains dynasty and maintaining the separatist regime. In the end, Yuan Hao established the Xia State, known as Xixia in history.
