How to unload the frame cow safely after it arrives?

After a long period of transportation, the cattle should be unloaded in time.

1. Unload cattle

(1) Provide a cattle unloading platform with a width of 2.4m and a height of 1.5m (the same as the height of the bottom of the carriage), which is connected with the cattle rack channel.

(2) The cow ditch is made of tubular material and can be moved. The length of the passage is 5 ~10m, the width of the upper part of the passage is 0.8 ~ 0.9m, and the width of the lower part is 0.5 ~ 0.6m, which is V-shaped, which is convenient for driving cattle.

(3) Cattle unloading: bring the cattle to the cattle unloading platform one by one and enter the cattle rack passage.

(4) Weighing the frame cow ① Scale size 1000 kg, recorded manually or electronically; ② Weigh each cow separately; ③ Record the number, weight, date, breed, sex and coat color of dairy cows.

(5) vaccination.

(6) insect repellent.

2. Grouping (column)

When cattle are raised in fences, they should be raised in groups. The basis of grouping is as follows:

(1) weight is the main factor.

Cows of similar weight are kept in pens.

(2) Give priority to varieties

Cattle of the same breed are kept in pens.

(3) Based on gender

Cows of the same sex are kept in pens.

(4) Constitution is the main factor.

Cows of similar physique are kept in pens.

(5) Mainly coat color.

Cows with the same coat color are kept in pens.

(6) Age is the main factor.

Cows of similar age are kept in pens.

3. Prevent cattle from climbing and fighting.

When the fence is fattened, the frame cows come from different regions. When strangers first contact them, they will fight and climb, which will cause the frame cows to be disabled. Take the following measures to end or reduce the fighting.

(1) Close the fence from above at the height of 1.3 ~ 1.4 meters to prevent cattle from jumping and crawling.

(2) Tie the two front legs of the cow with a rope with the length of 35-45 cm. This cow can walk, eat and drink, but it can't jump and climb.

(3) Let the cattle be familiar with it for a period of time in a larger sports field before merging.

(4) adopt night merger.

(5) No water or food for 4-6 hours. When merging, feed will be added to the trough, and the drinking trough will be filled with water. Cattle are busy eating and drinking, so fighting and climbing are slowed down.
