Lin Yun's academic anthology
This episode includes 50 papers published by Lin Yun from 1965 to 1998. Because there are many disciplines involved, the papers are slightly classified according to the nature of the content, similar papers are sorted according to the discussion time, and papers on the same topic are arranged according to the publication time. The main contents are as follows:
1. In the aspect of textual research and interpretation of ancient Chinese characters, the original meaning of ancient Chinese characters is explained in combination with archaeological objects, and the arguments are solid and credible. In particular, the article "Talking about the King" (1965) put forward for the first time that the cymbals in ancient China evolved into the scepter of the king, as a symbol of military command, indicating that China's kingship originated from military command. This view has been widely accepted by archaeologists and ancient history researchers. And it is constantly confirmed by new archaeological discoveries.
2. In the aspect of philology theory, The Same Origin of Wang and Scholars and Related Issues (1994) comprehensively and carefully analyzed the phenomenon of "one form with multiple readings" in Oracle Bone Inscriptions for the first time-the same glyph has two different pronunciations, representing different semantics. Later, more examples were used in Examples of Ancient Chinese Characters (1997) to prove that this way of using characters in the early days of ancient Chinese characters was also the "seal and seal" in the traditional six-script theory. This is an innovative idea.
3. In the aspect of Oracle bone dating, the Oracle bone dating excavated in Xiaotunnan and the Oracle bone dating in Yin Ruins (198 1) strongly supported Li Xueqin's "two systems theory" with the analysis of archaeological typology and stratigraphy, and re-discussed the method of Oracle bone dating, which is of positive significance to the future study of Oracle bone dating. A study of father-son appellation in The Unknown Group Oracle Bone Inscriptions (1984) puts forward that font is the only criterion for classification. This method has been applied in Huang Tianshu's later monograph "A Study on the Dating of Oracle Inscriptions in Yin Ruins" and proved to be feasible.
4. In terms of studying the history of Shang and Zhou Dynasties by using underground unearthed documents, two articles, "Looking at the Family Form of Shang Dynasty from Several Zi Oracle Inscriptions in Wuding Times" (1978) and "Some Views on Early Bronze Inscriptions" (198 1), have innovated the family form of Shang Dynasty from Oracle Bone Inscriptions and bronze inscriptions. The article "The League of Nations of Shang Dynasty in Oracle Bone Inscriptions" (1982) reinterprets China's ancient vassal system and "Fu" from Oracle Bone Inscriptions, which further broadens the research horizon and produces the article "Several Problems of China's Early State Form" (1986), which is edited by Xinhua Digest. This paper points out that the earliest country in China developed from an equal settlement to a differentiated urban group, and then developed into a more complex organization composed of multiple urban groups. In fact, it is the first time to discuss the formation process of civilization from the perspective of popular settlement archaeology in recent years.
5. In Archaeology of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Re-research on the relationship between Shang culture bronzes and bronzes in northern areas (1987) won the second prize of the first national outstanding achievement award for humanities and social sciences research in colleges and universities, and the content was omitted. A Preliminary Study of Bronze Sword in Northeast China (1980) is the first time that Chinese scholars have conducted a comprehensive and systematic study on this bronze ware, which originated in Liaoning, China and spread to the Korean Peninsula and Russian coastal areas. The chronological sequence of this sword is established by typology, its regional differentiation is discussed, and the misunderstanding of clan is corrected. It has a wide influence at home and abroad. Several Questions about Bronze Bow (1980) defines the bow as a rein hook. It coincides with the views of Russian archaeologists. The article "Archaeological Excavation of East Lake and Shanrong" (1995) puts forward that the bell-shaped earrings of Xiajiadian lower culture in western Liaoning originated from the earrings of Novo culture in Andlau, Minsk Basin, which has been confirmed by new archaeological discoveries in China and Russia in recent years.
6. On Unity Culture (1985) demonstrates that the unity culture remains-Kru Novka is the remains of the Woju people, which is a recognized conclusion at home and abroad. "Xichagou Iron Sword with Copper Handle and the Clan of the Old River God and Cai Lan Cemetery" (1993) demonstrates that the archaeological remains represented by the second phase of the Old River God should be the remains of husband and wife, which has been recognized more and more. Archaeological Research on the Origin of Xiongnu in China (1992) first questioned the traditional concept that Rong Di was Hu from the perspective of archaeology and physical anthropology. Gradually get the response of scholars on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
7. In the study of China's ancient cultural relics in the south of Russian Far East, such as tombstones in ten thousand tombs and T-shirts in Jin Dynasty (1976), Macedonian castles, brick towers in Yuanbei and Liaojin (1982), and historical truth in the painting of Hezhe shamanism statues (1975).
8. In the study of ancient Chinese characters, Mr. Jelly Lin studied under the famous scholar Yu Xiansheng and served as his assistant for a long time. Mr. Lin personally copied "The Forest of Oracle Bone Inscriptions", four volumes thick and neatly written. Mr. Lin has made great achievements in the study of ancient Chinese characters. In addition to publishing two academic collections, his monograph "Introduction to Ancient Chinese Characters" (1984 first edition called "Introduction to Ancient Chinese Characters") is a must-read for the study of ancient Chinese characters. Many of Mr. Lin's students in ancient philology have become famous scholars in today's academic circles, such as Professor South China Normal University, Professor Li of Wuhan University, Professor Northeast Normal University and Associate Professor Zhou of Jilin University.
