Zhao Yucai, a native of Jiu Feng, was born in Cizhou, Zhili (now Cixian, Hebei) in the Qing Dynasty. The dates of birth and death are unknown. He is good at writing and painting. Especially good at flowers and birds, he was a master of geography and geomantic omen at that time and an outstanding figure in ancient China. His works "Five Tactics of Geography" and "Three Essentials of Yangzhai" are all included in "The Complete Book of Thinking about Ku in Wenyuan Pavilion", which is a milestone in the history of ancient geomantic development.
Three Essentials of Yang Zhai was written by Zhao Jiufeng, a famous scholar in Qing Dynasty.
