Hebei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956. Formerly known as Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This school is located in Baoding City, Hebei Province. 1957 began to recruit undergraduates majoring in traditional Chinese medicine, and 1958 was named Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1962 merged with Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and belonged to Hebei Province.
From 65438 to 0969, Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine moved to Shijiazhuang and merged with Hebei Medical College to form Hebei New Medical University. 1983, resume independent setting and start enrollment. 1995 merged with Hebei Medical College and Shijiazhuang Medical College to form Hebei Medical University. 20 13 Reconstruction of Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over the past 60 years, despite the separation and integration, the undergraduate education of traditional Chinese medicine has been continuously carried out, and tens of thousands of outstanding talents have been trained, including Shi Xuemin, Wu Yiling and Zhang Yingze, academicians of China Academy of Engineering, and Li Shimao and Li Diangui, masters of traditional Chinese medicine.
At present, it is a "5+3" integrated training institution of the People's Government of Hebei Province, a university established in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, a key university in Hebei Province, a "double-class" university in Hebei Province, a doctoral degree awarding unit, a pilot university for the reform of the excellent doctoral (Chinese medicine) education and training plan of the Ministry of Education, and a major in Chinese medicine. It has the qualification of recommending excellent fresh graduates to pursue postgraduate studies without examination.
The school has four campuses: Xingyuan, Juquan, qi zhou and Dongyuan, with a total area of 596,855.63 square meters (895.28 mu) and a building area of 32 1.9 million square meters. The main campus is Xingyuan Campus, located in Xingyuan Road, Luquan District, Shijiazhuang City, with elegant environment and pleasant scenery. Juquan Campus is located in Xinshi South Road, qiaoxi district, Shijiazhuang City, adjacent to the railway station, with convenient transportation.
Qi zhou Campus is located in anguo city, the Millennium drug capital, with strong Chinese medicine culture and obvious location advantages. Dongyuan Campus, located in Zhongshan Road, Shijiazhuang City, is the main position of clinical teaching. The total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment is 283 million yuan. There are more than 999,700 paper books in the library, including 22,800 online ancient books and 0/.354 rare books.
At present, there are 2 directly affiliated hospitals, 265,438+0 non-directly affiliated hospitals, 40 teaching hospitals, 7 community practice teaching bases, 265,438+0 pharmaceutical practice bases and 20 other practice training bases, of which 5 have been approved as provincial postgraduate practice training bases.
