-In memory of master Nan Huai Jin.
On September 29th, 20 12, a grandmaster Nan died of illness in Suzhou Taihu University Hall. Baidu entry confirms Mr. Nan's status as a master of Chinese studies, a poet, an active disseminator of China traditional culture and an industrialist. The entry of "People's Evaluation" also specifically mentioned: Wang recalled that Nan's speech was lively, interesting and profound, and people respected him as a professor, a layman, a religious scholar, a philosopher, a Zen master and a master of Chinese studies, and he was once ranked among the "Top Ten Most Influential People in Taiwan Province Province". In fact, many hats worn by Mr. Nan really have their own backgrounds. In fact, one or two of his most prominent viewpoints may arouse widespread concern of contemporary and future generations.
For example, the day after Mr. Wang's death, all major websites were called "masters of Chinese studies". Recently, many people have raised objections to the identity of "master of Chinese studies" and cited some mistakes in Mr. Wang's speech before his death as evidence. Of course, some people think that Mr. Wang's greatest contribution is to spread the traditional culture of China, especially his new interpretation.
Mr. Nan Huai Jin has left. Although the coffin has been closed, personally, we can't jump to conclusions about his life today. Especially for a person who has great influence in society, we should be more cautious. After learning the bad news of Mr. Wang's death, the author was in a period of personal depression. It can be said that the death of Mr. Wang made me rethink all kinds of joys and sorrows in my personal life. I have also read Mr. Wang's book for many years, and I have a new understanding of China's traditional culture, which has changed my attitude towards life. I was going to write this article before I left my hometown for Beijing, but I have been busy with life and emotional trivia these days. Until now, when I was about to leave Beijing, I suddenly felt that this debt could not be delayed for too long. It seems that I should leave something behind, one is the memory of my husband, and the other is the recognition of regeneration.
Just like the evaluation of Mr. Nan's children, the most important aspect of Mr. Nan's life is the inheritance and dissemination of China's traditional culture. Mr. Nan does not stick to one school, but combines Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. His most outstanding contribution is a modern interpretation of predecessors' understanding of ancient books and documents, and he tells them to contemporary people through popular and interesting language. Many of his explanations and understandings are unique. Therefore, we miss Mr. Nan and his disobedience to the ancients. Mr. Nan was not confined to a certain school before his death. He believes that the cultivation of life should be Confucianism as the face, Taoism as the bone and Buddhism as the heart. Especially in the materialistic contemporary society, Mr. Wang's personal views have great enlightenment to our contemporary people. Although Mr. Wang has a thorough understanding of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, it is obvious that Mr. Wang focused on Buddhism and Buddhism in his later years. Judging from his life's writings (according to Baidu's incomplete statistics, Mr. Wang has written 52 books in his life, including more than 20 books with titles directly related to Buddhism and Buddhism), it can be seen that Mr. Wang is focused on Buddhism, focusing on its inheritance and dissemination.
Contemporary people's understanding of Mr. Nan is called "professor", "layman", "religious scholar", "philosopher", "Zen master", "master of Chinese studies" and industrialist. In fact, they can't be wrong. Mr. Nan's contribution to his life is various. He spent his whole life giving lectures, writing books and running industries, which can be said to be a poor life, making contributions and making a statement. Shao Yong was a famous Confucian in Song Dynasty. He practiced and believed in the four noes all his life, that is, thinking without thinking, doing without thinking, communicating without thinking, and accepting without thinking. 20 1 1, when I was reading Shao Kangjie's Quan Yi Shu, I wrote this poem:
Naive-reading the book Yi, I occasionally get four points: the heart has no illusions, and the soul has no illusions. People pay greed and anger in vain, and things purify themselves in vain. Relative to fishing firewood, love and hate each other, regret each other for good and ill luck, and overcome each other. There are many gaffes in the world, and shame is nothing but light.
Mr. Nan is cultured, knowledgeable and has a vivid portrayal of life. Mr. nan's emphasis on industry is a deep return to his native land; Mr. Nan's emphasis on education is a leader who makes people feel at a loss in contemporary society. Mr. Nan's emphasis on writing is a spur and encouragement for future generations to re-examine, inherit and carry forward the essence of China's traditional culture. Although the author, like many ordinary people, can't catch up with Mr. Wang, we can still have a glimmer of hope for life in this impetuous age through his writings, lectures, education and industry. After all, the power of culture and thought is longer. I believe that Mr. Wang's lifelong exploration is an example for our future generations to learn, and it will also inspire us to yearn for and practice a better life and ideals.
I wanted to write some elegiac couplets, but after reading Mr. Wang's poems and writings, the author was ashamed to do it. This article is dedicated to the memory of a great master, Mr. Nan!
I deeply miss a great master, Mr. nan huaijin!
