Basic information about Wang Fu

Wang Fu, [Qing Dynasty] (1692-1759), was originally named Xuan, also known as Canren, also known as Shuangchi, and also called Rebirth. A native of Wuyuan, Huizhou (now part of Jiangxi). He is well versed in Confucian classics and takes the five sons of the Song Dynasty as his return. He has written quite a lot. In his later years, in central Fujian, between Guanfengling and Pucheng. When he was young, his family was poor and he was employed as a bowl painter in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. The landscapes, figures, flowers and birds painted are exquisite and suitable for different combinations of work. Unfortunately, there is no appreciation for them and few people know them. He died at the age of sixty-eight.
