The Tao Te Ching says that "everything is negative and holds Yang, and qi thinks it is harmony", which not only reveals the truth that man and everything are the sum of Yin and Yang, but also reminds people to understand their position in the creation of Yin and Yang. Only when we are clearly aware of this position and make it the basic idea when we face all things in nature can we realize the real harmony between man and nature. Otherwise, if people regard themselves as "heterogeneous" of nature, they will be mutually exclusive and conceptually incompatible with nature. How do they finally achieve harmony through different efforts? "The way of guarding the heart" is the "golden mean or the concept of neutralization" in Tao Te Ching, which advocates and guides people to solve and deal with everything in the whole process of social production and life.
The fifth chapter of Tao Te Ching mentions: "What is the difference between heaven and earth? Empty and unyielding, move out. It is better to stay in the middle than to say too much. " Everything must reach the peak, isn't it better to satisfy the will to succeed? Why should we remain neutral? The bread here contains the deep concern of Tao Te Ching about the expansion of human self-will. Living between heaven and earth, human beings can accomplish things that other things can't, which is of course the pride of human beings. However, compared with natural creation, human creation does have a second meaning. Human creation itself is not only a small part of natural creation, but also an imitation of natural creation fundamentally. However, because of this creative ability, human beings have expanded their will. In order to carry out many prejudices about the gains and losses of right and wrong, good and evil, beauty and ugliness, they did a lot of things, which not only caused the imbalance and disharmony of things, but also caused the imbalance and disharmony of self-mind. Therefore, the Tao Te Ching said that "it is better to keep the middle way", that is, to maintain an impartial and just position and stand on the spiritual height of nature's tolerance. Such a way of "nourishing the heart with the heart" is a balanced and eclectic way to deal with various affairs and solve various contradictions in social communication. Only by "neutralization" can society achieve harmony, and any paranoid preference is an obstacle to achieving social harmony. The view of human nature of "the way of modesty and kindness" is a magic weapon for people to improve their self-cultivation and self-perfection.
Many chapters in Tao Te Ching focus on the cultivation of human nature. For example, "Jianghai is kind to others" is used to enlighten humility, and it is believed that "Jianghai can be the king of hundreds of valleys, and its kindness can be the king of hundreds of valleys. If you want to go to the people, you must say it; If you want to be an ancestor, you must be behind you. You think that "heaven and earth can last for a long time because they are not born, so they can live forever." "After that, the body comes first and the body exists outside." Tao Te Ching also praised the beauty of weakness with "water virtue" and regarded it as "goodness as water". Everything in water conservancy is indisputable, dealing with the evil of all people, living well, being kind-hearted, kind-hearted, good at words, good at politics, good at doing things and good at action. "The world is the softest and the strongest. "These weak qualities contain the potential to obey everything and conform to everything like Tao. Because they are not contradictory to everything, but deal with the relationship between themselves and external things in a spirit of self-amplification, thus forming a harmony between things and themselves. Therefore, such a weak person can best face the strong and live in harmony with things with different characteristics. Such a humble and weak way is not only a virtue, a spiritual realm, but also a wisdom.
